MA Memo is a tool for controlling information in the text format. It can be used as a memo, an analyzer or an editor.

Features

Each text block consists of Subject (heading), date, a couple of fields for making the sorting and searching easier plus the main text field.

New text blocks can be created by writing directly to the text field, or by dragging and dropping previously written documents or text clips on the Listing.

The text blocks can be sorted and organized freely. The wanted part of the text field can be dragged to make a new text block. It’s also possible to drag a text block from one MA Memo document to another one.

It’s possible to find text blocks with the wanted word by using the Search command. These results can then be put together in to a new document and saved the way they are or processed like any other MA Memo document. The Search command finds information from all the open documentaries.

Tags can be used when exporting text blocks. The user defines the tags based on his or her needs. They can be saved so that there are different types for different needs (e.g. for layout and html)

– There is a submenu of Export File. You can choose to export what you have set in preference pane, plain text file or html file.
– If you change the view, the text field moves below the list.

– Now you can set MA Memo to check if there are updated version of it or use manual checking.
– Now it's possible to set every document window to open in the same place and size.

What's new in version 1.2

– New Search window. There are now five search fields and if they are empty, they are ignored. The category and priority popup menus will take contents from the top window when the search window is opened.
– Open Recent can contain ten files now.
– The menu command "Go to the URL" can now resolve the url when the cursor is in the address and no selection has been made.
– The default name in the Save As dialog is now the current name of the document.
– A bug, which gave wrong results with some special characters when exporting text to html has been fixed.
– Some minor bug corrections have been done.

– Added a possibility to set text font and size on the text field more freely.
– Added a keyboard short cut: if you don't want to save changes, you can use the short cut command D.
– Made some changes on the preference window.
